Carentan House accommodates a maximum of 24 adults, including those living with dementia, with 17 residents present at inspection. The service includes the Homewards Unit, which offers short stay, respite, and rehabilitation care.

Inspectors found the home had effective systems to protect residents from COVID-19, with residents and staff appropriately risk assessed and shielding arrangements implemented where necessary. The home maintained sufficient supplies of personal protective equipment, with PPE stations readily available throughout the facility.
