Firth House

This care home provides personal care for up to 41 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 40 residents were accommodated at the service.

Staff and visitors follow effective systems for wearing Personal Protective Equipment in line with government guidelines, with dedicated facilities available for hand sanitisation and PPE application. Infection prevention and control procedures are clearly established and consistently followed by all staff members, who receive training in safe IPC practices. Inspectors observed staff wearing appropriate PPE throughout the service, with plentiful supplies readily available.
