Care for Veterans

Care for Veterans provides residential nursing care to up to 60 people with physical disabilities and complex needs, primarily ex-service personnel and their relatives. The home operates across three separate units with adapted facilities, accommodating 51 residents at the time of inspection, the majority of whom are wheelchair users.

People felt safe living at the home, with one resident noting, "They have very good staff who are well-trained. They really look after me". Staff identified and managed risks appropriately, including environmental hazards, and demonstrated knowledge of how to support residents safely. Staffing levels were sufficient to meet people's needs.
