This service provides nursing care for up to 57 older people across two adapted buildings, with residents having individual rooms and access to communal lounges, dining areas and an enclosed courtyard. At inspection, 40 people were living at the home. While improvements had been made since the last inspection, concerns remained about safety and record-keeping. Staff had not identified risks associated with distressed behaviours, and there were no care plans to guide safe, consistent support during these episodes. Daily records did not consistently document the help people received, including food and fluid intake, repositioning and instances of distress. Quality auditing systems and governance arrangements had not effectively identified these gaps or driven improvements in care.
