Mrs A and Mr R Brooks - 5 Everton Road

5 Everton Road is a residential care home across four shared houses, providing personal care for up to 15 people with a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC found the service had improved since its previous requires improvement rating and now rated it good. People had choice and control over their lives, staff knew them well, and there were enough suitably recruited staff to meet needs.

People felt safe and staff understood how to report concerns. Medicines management and infection control had improved but still needed some refinement, including better cleaning records. Leadership was open and person-centred, though staff training and governance systems needed further embedding to fully secure progress.
