Bryher Court Nursing Home

Bryher Court Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 45 people with a range of age-related and physical health conditions. At inspection, 34 people were using the service.

There were concerns about risk management systems, which were not robust enough to consistently demonstrate that safety was managed effectively. The home's recruitment procedures needed improvement to ensure full employment history was recorded for each staff member.

People were not consistently supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, and staff did not fully support decision-making in line with relevant legislation.
