Visitor access was limited to essential health professionals providing direct care, while advocacy appointments and social work reviews were conducted remotely via telephone or video calls. Personal protective equipment was properly disposed of in designated clinical waste or PPE bins, with clinical waste containers pressure washed and disinfected weekly after collection.
The service also transitioned from paper-based to electronic care records to further reduce infection risks.
