Little Heaton Care Home

Little Heaton Care Home is situated in Middleton, a town in the metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester. It is registered to provide accommodation and personal care to 25 people, some of whom may be living with dementia.

The home environment needed improving, with some paintwork in poor condition, stained carpets, and minor repairs required. Good infection control practices had not always been followed. However, effective safeguarding systems were in place, with staff understanding their responsibilities and feeling comfortable raising concerns. There were sufficient staff to provide care and support.
