Brampton View Care Home

Brampton View provides nursing and personal care for up to 88 older people across four units in a purpose-built building. At inspection, 58 residents were using the service. The provider had recently invested in a new management and staff team and was implementing systems to assess, monitor and improve safety and quality, though these were still being embedded into practice. The service used information from safeguarding incidents, complaints and accidents to learn and prevent reoccurrences, with the registered manager supporting staff development through supervision and retraining.

Residents received food and drink tailored to their needs and preferences, and their prescribed medicines were administered safely. Staff had access to risk assessments and information needed to mitigate known risks. The provider followed safe recruitment practices to ensure staff were of good character.
