The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds provides nursing and personal care for up to 41 residents with acquired brain injuries, some of whom have complex physical needs. The service offers long-term support tailored to individual requirements.

During inspection, inspectors observed several examples of good practice. Staff delivered information about the pandemic on a one-to-one basis, with the in-house speech and language therapy team creating easy read documents to help residents understand social distancing. Those who requested surgical masks were provided with them. The service implemented clear Covid-19 protocols for visitors, including risk assessments and temperature recording upon arrival.
