Blenheim Court Care Home

Blenheim Court Care Home provides nursing and residential care for up to 60 older people, some living with dementia, with 49 people using the service at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated it Requires Improvement overall, following an inspection prompted by concerns about safe care. Inspectors found breaches relating to risk assessments, staff recruitment checks and medicines management, along with weak governance systems that had failed to identify these shortfalls.

Despite this, people spoke warmly of the care they received, describing kind, respectful staff and a full activity programme. People felt safe, involved in decisions and confident their feedback would be acted on. Inspectors found leaders visible and supportive, though improvements to safety systems were still needed.
