About Steep House Nursing Home

Steep House Nursing Home in Hampshire is a care home providing nursing care for up to 56 older and younger people, including those living with dementia, a physical disability or a mental health need. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it well-led by an experienced registered manager who had built an open, person-centred culture and supported staff through a change of provider.

Inspectors found a stable, skilled staff team who knew people well and provided kind, patient, unrushed care. People and relatives spoke positively about staff and mealtimes, risks were well managed, and legal requirements around restrictions on freedom were met. People also had good access to social activities and were involved in planning their own care.
