Blakeney House

Blakeney House provides personal care to people with a learning disability and autistic people. At inspection, ten people were receiving care in this adapted community building with a large garden. People reported being happy living at the service, with one relative commenting that their family member "speaks very fondly of the service."

Care and treatment were planned to ensure people's safety and welfare, with sufficient staff available to meet needs. Staff had completed appropriate recruitment checks before employment. Systems were in place to minimise infection risk and learn from incidents. Medication was dispensed by trained and competent staff. The service supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches in people's best interests.
