Mellor House

Mellor House is a care home providing personal care and support to up to eight people with a learning disability, without nursing care on site. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people were kept safe by well-recruited, trained staff and were supported to make choices in the least restrictive way possible.

Inspectors found care was person-centred, kind and respectful of people's dignity and privacy, with staff helping people take part in community activities they enjoyed. Leaders were described as visible and supportive, and relatives and professionals gave very positive feedback about the standard of care provided.
