Blackburn (Florence House)

Blackburn (Florence House) is registered to support up to 13 people, with 9 people living there at the time of the assessment. It provides care for people with a learning disability and autistic people, focusing on safe, kind and person centred support.

The CQC found the home was performing well overall. Risks were assessed, medicines were managed safely, and staff were recruited properly and trained. People and relatives generally felt safe and well cared for, though feedback was mixed on how consistently professionals' recommendations were followed, and involvement in care plan reviews was limited for some families.
