Linden House Care Home

Linden House Care Home provides residential care for up to 63 people, including younger adults, people with physical disabilities, mental health needs, older people and those with dementia. At inspection, 42 people were using the service. The home has made improvements in staffing levels, with people feeling there is sufficient staff available. Infection prevention and control practices have also improved, and systems are in place to assess and manage individual risks and keep people safe. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control in their lives using the least restrictive practices in their best interests.

The home had improved its practices around thickeners but medication processes and procedures were not always being followed. Recruitment checks were not consistently robust. Governance systems are in place and have improved since the last inspection.
