Birchwood Grove

Birchwood Grove provides residential nursing and personal care for up to 24 older people, many of whom have dementia with limited verbal communication. The home offers a range of communal spaces including a dining room, conservatory and lounge area, with accommodation in two double bedrooms and single rooms. People and their relatives reported feeling happy and safe at the home, with residents comfortable in the presence of staff. Medicines were administered safely, though some improvements in medicine management procedures were identified. Most identified risks had appropriate mitigation strategies in place.
