Compton House Christian Nursing Home provides accommodation and nursing care for older people, including some living with dementia. The CQC found the service to be Good overall, with people describing staff as kind, friendly and hardworking, and care that was personalised to individual needs and preferences.

Leadership was rated as requiring improvement. Inspectors found that management changes, inconsistent governance and gaps in quality assurance meant oversight was not always effective, and further work was needed on mental capacity assessments and dementia care skills. Despite this, these shortfalls were not found to affect the standard of care people received.
