Belle Vue Country House

Belle Vue Country House provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 41 people, including those living with dementia and mental health conditions. The CQC found the service had made sustained improvements since its last assessment, and previous breaches relating to governance, consent and the Mental Capacity Act had been resolved. Inspectors found staff understood safeguarding, medicines were well managed and the environment had been upgraded to better support people living with dementia.

People and relatives described staff as kind, attentive and respectful, with good communication and involvement in care decisions. Leadership was seen as open and effective, though some relatives felt activities could be more consistent. Overall, the service was rated Good.
