Beauchamp Court provides accommodation and personal care for up to 19 older people, including those living with dementia. The home currently supports 16 residents across three floors in one adapted building. While people felt safe receiving care from regular staff members, risk assessments did not cover all areas where residents might face safety concerns, meaning some potential risks may not have been identified or mitigated. Care plans also lacked guidance in important areas such as communication needs and end-of-life care preferences, leaving staff without clear direction on how to support people in these aspects of their lives. The manager records and reviews accidents and incidents to identify patterns and prevent recurrence. Staff maintain the home to a clean standard and take measures to protect residents from infection.
