Thameside

Thameside provides personal care to up to 61 residents living with physical frailty and dementia across five units on three floors. At inspection, 49 people were using the service.

The home's governance systems did not consistently support safe care delivery. While quality assurance processes existed, they failed to identify improvement areas and potential safety risks, including environmental issues. Care plans were in place and set out how to meet residents' needs in a person-centred way, with information provided to people in accessible formats. The inspector recommended enhancing the variety of available activities for residents.
