Bakewells Care Home

Bakewells provides accommodation and personal care for up to 34 people, and was fully occupied at inspection. The home includes a purpose-built extension called The Deane, which provides specialist care for eight people living with dementia.

The home demonstrated good infection control practices, screening all visitors for symptoms before entry. Handwashing and sanitizing facilities were readily available at entry and exit points, with clear guidance information displayed to ensure visitors followed protocols.
