Avon House Rest Home - Balcombe

Avon House Rest Home provides accommodation and support for up to nineteen older people, including those with physical and mental health needs and dementia. The service operates from a large detached Victorian house spread over three floors, with bedrooms on the ground and first floors, set within landscaped gardens. At the time of inspection, fifteen people were living at the home.

The service has a registered manager in post overseeing operations. An auditing and quality review system was in place, though further improvements were planned to strengthen oversight and embed the system more effectively.
