Oak House

Oak House is a care home for people with a learning disability and autistic people, with four people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that risks were well managed, staffing levels were appropriate, and medicines were handled safely. Care plans were person centred and staff worked closely with other professionals to achieve good health outcomes.

Inspectors found a warm, respectful culture, with staff described as kind and supportive by relatives. People were encouraged to take part in activities and stay in contact with family. The registered manager provided clear, approachable leadership, with good oversight and quality monitoring in place across the service.
