Aurem Care (Glebe House)

This nursing care home accommodates up to 41 older people who are physically frail, though 29 were residing there at the time of inspection. The service provides residential, nursing and respite care.

The home had implemented robust infection control measures for visitors, including health screening questions, temperature checks, and contact details recording for track and trace purposes. Visitors were required to use hand sanitiser and wear masks, with visits booked in advance. The provider created a dedicated safe visiting area featuring entrance doors from the garden and a large perspex-windowed booth with chairs positioned on either side, allowing relatives to visit while maintaining safety protocols.
