Aspen Court Care Home

This care home accommodates up to 40 people in a large purpose-built property, specialising in care for older people and those living with dementia. At inspection, 30 people were using the service. The home has an isolation hub on the first floor with several rooms for people admitted directly from hospital, designed to reduce cross-contamination risks. When people tested positive for COVID-19, staff followed current government guidance, with individuals isolating in their own rooms and receiving support from staff. All staff had received training in infection prevention and control, food hygiene, and COVID-19 procedures.
