The Park Residential and Nursing Home

The Park Residential and Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 42 people, primarily older adults some of whom live with dementia. At the time of inspection, 33 people were receiving care at the service.

The home demonstrated good infection control practices, including regular COVID-19 testing for both residents and staff, with senior managers monitoring the process. Cleaning routines were thorough, with frequent cleaning of high-touch surfaces maintained throughout. Staff had designated rooms for putting on and removing personal protective equipment, and adequate supplies of PPE and hand hygiene products were readily available. Visiting arrangements were carefully planned to minimise infection transmission risks, with checks in place for visitors.
