Could the NHS fund Ashville House's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Ashville House is a residential care home providing personal care and mental health support for up to three people in an adapted terraced house in a residential area. At the time of inspection, the home was supporting three residents.
Inspectors identified concerns with recruitment practices, finding that disclosure and barring service checks were not always current and references were missing from one file. Additionally, medicine administration records lacked accuracy and there was no clear protocol outlining when residents should receive their as-required medications, raising concerns about whether people were receiving appropriate support with their medicines.
