Abba Residential Home

Abba Residential Home provides personal care to up to five people with mental health needs. At the time of inspection, the service was supporting four residents. Staff were knowledgeable about safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures, and medicines were managed safely with appropriate infection control measures in place. The home had systems to learn from accidents and incidents.

People using the service received risk assessments to protect them from avoidable harm. Staff received training and supervision to support them in their roles, and care needs were assessed before admission to ensure the service could meet individual requirements.
