Ashbrook Nursing Home

Ashbrook Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care to older people, including those with dementia, across three floors with adapted facilities and en-suite rooms. The home accommodates up to 70 residents. Systems are in place to protect people from abuse, and staff are recruited safely with sufficient numbers to meet care needs. Medicines are managed safely and administered as prescribed, and infection control measures protect residents.

While risk assessments are conducted and monitored, some require further development to provide staff with more suitable guidance for delivering safe care. The home records and monitors accidents and incidents to identify patterns and improve safety.
