Amelia House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 10 adults and young people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or autism spectrum disorders. The service occupies one adapted building and is designed to help residents transition between services. During the inspection, nine people were living at the home, with a tenth arriving during the visit.

The provider had recently extended their registration to include support for people moving into community settings with the same core staff group, though this programme had not yet started.

The home is operated according to principles focused on supporting residents' independence and wellbeing during their time at the service.
