Prospect House

Prospect House provides accommodation and personal care for up to seven people with learning disabilities in one building. Six people were using the service at inspection.

Staff had assessed risks and monitored them, but not all risks were consistently prevented. Relatives expressed mixed views about their relative's safety. While accidents and incidents were analysed, this process needed strengthening to ensure the service learned from these events and improved practice.

A development plan was in place to address improvements. The service needed to strengthen its audits and monitoring systems and embed them more firmly into everyday practice.
