About Aldeburgh House

Aldeburgh House is a residential care home in Essex providing personal care and support for people with learning disabilities. Further details on the findings of its most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Aldeburgh House accommodates and provides personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, five people were living there.

The service demonstrated thoughtful consideration of residents' wellbeing during the pandemic. When lockdown restrictions prevented people from visiting their favourite restaurant, staff supported residents to recreate the restaurant experience within their own dining area. People helped redecorate the room and add seating and accessories that matched those in the original restaurant, allowing them to continue enjoying their usual dining experience at home.
