Waverley Lodge provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 45 people, including some living with dementia. At the time of assessment, 36 people lived there. The service was previously rated requires improvement, with several breaches of regulation, but the CQC found these had all been addressed and rated the home good overall.

Inspectors found people felt safe and well cared for, with staff who knew them well and treated them with kindness and respect. Recruitment and medicine management had improved, safeguarding was understood, and quality monitoring systems were now effective. There was no registered manager in post, though a new manager was due to start shortly.
