Waverley Lodge

Waverley Lodge is a nursing home providing nursing and personal care for up to 45 residents, including those living with dementia, with accommodation across two floors. At the time of inspection, 35 people were using the service.

The home had significant gaps in its risk assessment and monitoring systems. Falls management records and incident documentation did not consistently show that management had reviewed and analysed the information. Staff had not always recorded observations following falls or documented lessons learned in line with the home's own policies, indicating inconsistent oversight of safety concerns.

Improvements had been made in cleanliness standards throughout the home, and several staff members had adopted appropriate personal protective equipment.
