Acorn Lodge Care Centre

Acorn Lodge Care Centre provides personal and nursing care to up to 98 older people, including those living with dementia and mental health conditions, in a purpose-built four-storey building. People are protected from abuse and harm through regular safeguarding training for staff and systems that assess and manage risks. The home supports residents to be as independent as possible and encourages positive risk-taking in the local community, allowing people to live with minimal restrictions. Staff levels are sufficient to provide care, and medicines are managed safely. The building is kept clean with regular room cleaning to prevent infection, and people are able to decorate their rooms according to personal preference.
