Could the NHS fund Mary Seacole Nursing Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Mary Seacole Nursing Home is a residential nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 50 people across six separate units, each with dedicated facilities. At the time of inspection, 46 people were living at the service.
The home maintained robust procedures for visitor infection control and prevention, with visitors required to arrange appointments in advance. Visiting times were staggered to prevent congestion at the main entrance, with each person nominating one regular family visitor. Exceptions were made for visitors assisting with essential support.
