Yew Tree Nursing Home

Yew Tree House provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 41 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 30 people were living at the home.

Inspectors found that risks to people's health and welfare were not always effectively managed. Steps to reduce the risk of falls were not consistently in place. Medicines were not always managed safely, with some not given in line with prescribed instructions. The oversight of accidents and incidents required improvement, as there was no systematic analysis of causes or triggers.
