Woodside Nursing Home

Woodside Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 48 older people across three floors, with communal lounges, dining rooms and garden access. At the time of assessment, 39 people lived there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people were kept safe, well cared for and supported by kind, skilled staff who worked well together and monitored people's health effectively.

Inspectors did identify some governance gaps, including missing repositioning records for a person at risk of pressure wounds, minor infection control issues, and medicine storage temperatures that remained too high for three months despite audits flagging this. The provider resolved these issues promptly during the assessment. People and relatives spoke warmly of staff, describing them as attentive, respectful and responsive to feedback.
