Woodlands Care Home

Woodlands Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 55 older people, some living with dementia, across five separate units. The CQC rated the service Good overall, an improvement from its previous Requires Improvement rating, having found that earlier concerns about medicines management and governance had been resolved.

Inspectors found medicines were now managed safely, staff were well-trained, and people were protected from abuse and harm. Residents and relatives praised the kind, respectful care and strong, approachable leadership, describing a positive, well-organised atmosphere throughout the home.
