Could the NHS fund Woodhouse Hall's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Woodhouse Hall supports up to 19 people with learning disabilities and autism, some of whom have mental health needs. At the time of inspection, 18 residents were living there. Staff respected people as individuals and supported them to engage in activities and develop new skills, ensuring people had maximum choice and control over their lives while using the least restrictive approaches. Most risks to people's care were assessed with actions in place to manage them. The manager addressed safety and maintenance issues with the premises promptly to reduce risks. While medicines were generally administered safely, some specific areas required improvement.
