Ardsley House provides residential accommodation and personal care for people living with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, 12 people were using the service. The home had implemented robust COVID-19 safety measures, including visitor sign-in procedures with temperature checks and risk assessments.

Staff completed competency checks to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment, and both residents and staff had access to regular COVID-19 testing. The home made particular efforts to support people's understanding and wellbeing during the pandemic, using easy-read materials and meetings to discuss COVID-19 and help reduce anxieties among residents.
