Woodcroft

This residential care home provides personal care and accommodation to six people with learning disabilities. During inspection, concerns were identified regarding infection control practices, particularly around visitor screening procedures. While staff reported that visitors were asked to provide evidence of negative lateral flow device tests and have their temperature checked on arrival, these procedures were not consistently followed when inspectors visited. Staff also gave conflicting information about the frequency of lateral flow device testing requirements. Senior management responded positively to these concerns and provided reassurance about addressing the identified gaps in infection control protocols.
