Cedarwood Lodge (Active Prospects)

Cedarwood Lodge (Active Prospects) is a small care home for up to 5 people with a learning disability and/or autism, with 4 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people were supported with dignity, choice and access to their local community, and lived in a safe, clean environment with enough staff on hand.

Inspectors found medicines were managed safely, staff were recruited properly and well trained, and consent to care was consistently sought. People maintained relationships with family and took part in activities they enjoyed. Leaders provided effective oversight, with a culture of openness, trust and teamwork supporting good outcomes for people living there.
