About Woodcote Hall

Woodcote Hall is a residential care home in Telford and Wrekin, providing support for older people and younger adults living with dementia, mental health needs or sensory impairment. Further details on the CQC's findings are set out below.

Woodcote Hall is a residential care home supporting older people and younger adults living with dementia, mental health needs or sensory impairment. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised by a relative, and found these had been addressed, with significant improvements since the previous assessment. The home is now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found staff were kind, attentive and treated people as individuals, involving them in planning their care. Risks were well managed, staffing levels were adequate, and leaders fostered a culture of learning and openness. However, medicines management needed improvement, as audits had not identified issues meaning some people did not always receive medicines as prescribed.
