Woodcote Hall

Woodcote Hall is a residential care home supporting up to 56 older people, some living with dementia, in a single adapted building. At inspection, 36 people were using the service. The home provides a sufficient number of staff to meet people's needs safely, though senior staff sometimes struggle to complete documentation alongside their care duties. Staff recruitment follows safe procedures, with Disclosure and Barring Service checks and satisfactory references obtained before employment. The manager identified gaps in historical staff inductions and has since redone them to ensure all staff are competent and skilled to support residents safely. Staff receive well-structured training and ongoing support to maintain their abilities in providing quality care.
