Winslow

Winslow is a nursing home providing accommodation and high levels of staff support for up to six people with a learning disability and/or autism, some with additional mental health needs. Each person has their own individual apartment. The CQC rated the service requires improvement overall, continuing the rating from its previous inspection.

Inspectors found continued breaches relating to safe care and treatment, and to good governance, with outstanding health and safety actions including fire and legionella risk assessments. Staff were found to be caring and responsive to people's needs, but the provider must make further improvements to ensure risks are properly managed.
