Hazelgrove Care Home

Hazelgrove Care Home accommodates up to 40 older people with nursing care. At inspection, 34 residents were living at the service. The home implemented robust COVID-19 safety measures, including visitor checks upon arrival and individualised risk assessments with care plans for each person. Regular whole-home testing was conducted for residents and staff, with those testing positive following national guidance for self-isolation. All staff were fully vaccinated and had received infection prevention training with appropriate access to personal protective equipment including masks, gloves and aprons, which were observed being worn correctly. Staff reviewed and updated practices regularly to reflect changes in national guidelines.
