Winscombe Care Home

Winscombe Care Home accommodates up to 28 people with physical or learning disabilities in a ground-level property set in large grounds. The service is designed around values of choice, promotion of independence, and inclusion, enabling people with learning disabilities and autism to live ordinary lives as citizens. The home is staffed by a registered manager.

At this inspection, improvements were evident in the management of Mental Capacity Act requirements and quality assurance systems, addressing previous regulatory breaches. The provider had implemented changes to meet regulations regarding consent and good governance.
