Ellerslie House

Ellerslie House provides support for people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the service good, an improvement on its previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found people were involved in planning their own care, risks were well managed, and information was shared in accessible ways to support choice.

Staff were described as kind and person-centred, and felt valued and supported through supervision. Relatives reported recent improvements, including new activities such as bike riding, football clubs and outings. Leaders showed a positive, open culture, though inspectors noted responsiveness still required improvement.
