Hunters Lodge Care Home

Hunters Lodge Care Home provides personal care and support for people living in a care home setting. The CQC carried out a responsive assessment after concerns were raised about staff recognising when people became unwell and delays in getting medical advice, but overall the service was found to be good.

Inspectors found staff understood mental capacity principles and respected people's choices, with effective leadership and a supportive, learning-focused culture. People and relatives described staff as kind and caring, feeling safe, listened to and well looked after, with good food, activities and a positive experience of moving into the home.
