About Willowdene

Willowdene is a residential care home in Norfolk, offering short break personal care for people with learning disabilities. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

Willowdene is a residential care home providing short break personal care to people with learning disabilities, registered to accommodate one person at a time. At inspection, one person was staying and eight others used the service regularly. The home also runs a non-regulated day service on site for the same users.

The service is designed to enable people to live full, meaningful lives with control, choice and independence through person-centred support.

The home deliberately avoids institutional appearance, with no identifying signs, intercoms or cameras outside. Staff are discouraged from wearing uniforms when accompanying people in the community. A committed management team oversees the service with good visibility of daily operations and formal quality monitoring systems in place.
